UMBC's own Bruce Perry Jr. named Chief of Police
The UMBC Police Dept. officially has a new Chief of Police
Bruce Perry Jr. has officially been appointed to the Chief of Police for the UMBC Police Dept. Bruce has been serving in the role of Acting Chief of Police since February of 2022. Bruce has been with the Police Dept., as an officer, since 1998 and has worked his way up the ranks to the position of Chief.
Lets all give Bruce a big round of applause for this great accomplishment and please congratulate him when you see him around campus.
Way to go Bruce and well deserved!!!!!
