Join Alpha Alpha Alpha Honors Society for First-Generation Students

We are excited to announce our membership into the Honors Society for First-Generation Student Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha). As the Nu Chapter we are working toward creating moments to celebrate the success of First-generation students, to gain membership into the honors society our First-generation students must attain a GPA of 3.2 or higher and 30 credits at UMBC. 

While achieving academically connecting with them, creating community and mentorship opportunities are among our main priorities!

That’s where your help comes in, becoming a member of Tri-Alpha signifies your dedication to helping create the inclusive and well needed space for our students to thrive as first generation here UMBC and beyond. It also reminds them that there are individuals that have been through a similar journey and are now here to aid in their success! If interested please complete the application found here, there is a one time membership fee of $40 for professionals. Application closes March 28th.
